Tiny Tots 3-5 yrs

This class runs on a Saturday morning and aims to introduce preschoolers to Ballroom and Latin American dancing. We teach the very basics in Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha and Samba. We add to these lots of party dances such as the Macarena and we try to include a little freestyle too. Tiny Tot's is a gentle and very fun class.

Parents and guardians are all seated around the edge making the children feel very secure.

Juvenile (6-8yrs) (9-12yrs)

Initially we teach children the basics of Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Cha Cha, Samba & Jive and focus on understanding rhythm and timing. We also add a few party dances to the classes which are easy to master and add a social element.

Juvenile Advanced (9-12yrs)

At this level children have a sound understanding of the basics, and can successfully dance Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba and Jive. We focus a little more on style and technique and introduce two further dances, the Foxtrot and Rumba. Steps taught become more challenging both technically and choreographically. Lots of fun!

Junior (12+ yrs)

We run this beginners class so the teenagers gain confidence with the basics before integrating with those who started at a younger age. Initially we teach the basics in Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha and jive.

Junior Advanced (12+ yrs)

Children at this level have a sound understanding of the basics and can successfully dance Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. We focus more on style and technique and introduce the remaining dances - Foxtrot, Samba, Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble. At an advanced level steps taught go beyond the usual syllabus, and variations become more challenging, both technically and choreographically, lots of fun and very skilful.
